Improving and preserving vision are goals of Dr. Nepple and all of us at Clear Vision Eye Care. With over 30 years experience Dr. Nepple attends continuing education courses at institutions both in and outside the United States on a regular basis as do members of our staff. Recently reappointed for 3 years, he has been an Associate Professor (volunteer faculty) with the University of Wisconsin - Madison Department of Ophthalmology for many years. Recently, Dr Nepple was reelected as President of the Washington County Medical Society for a fifth term (5 years).
Personal Interests:
Mountaineering, backpacking, and sailing.
Dr. Nepple enjoys the recreational activities of backpacking, mountaineering, and is an avid sailor. Having completed many courses he is certified in advanced navigation and many aspects of sailing. In his spare time he captains sailboats in locations around the world and has a sailboat on Lake Michigan.

Board Certified: Certified American Board of Ophthalmology (lifetime certificate). In addition recently voluntarily passed the examination and completed all requirements for 10 year recertification by the American Board of Ophthalmology until 2022
